When applied before MIG or spot welding, the zinc melts, bonds to the steel, and reduces rust formation.
It can be applied over rusted or pitted areas provided that all loose scale is removed. A waterproof film will form after 15 minutes and can be welded immediately after application.
Application
Clean and dry metal surfaces. Shake the can for 2 minutes until the ball bearing moves. Spray from 10-15 cm away, allowing 5-8 minutes between coats.
For spot welding and corrosion protection on metal surfaces.
The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease. Lightly sand problematic surfaces. Before use, shake for 2 minutes until you can hear the mixing balls rattling. Apply the product in two cross-coats from a distance of 15 cm to 20 cm. Recommended dry layer thickness: 50 μm. Touch-dry: 5-8 minutes. After use, turn the can upside down and spray
