Meets and exceeds the current international specifications of U.S FMVSS No. 16 DOT 3/4, SAE J1703 and ISO 4925 (Class 3)
Formula based on glycol ether. Can be mixed with all brake fluids of the same specification. Excellent corrosion protection compared to iron and non-ferrous metals. High degree of thermal stability. Rubber-compatible.
Min. dry boiling point 260°C. Min. wet boiling point 180°C
Keep brake fluid clean and dry. Contamination by dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials can lead to brake failure or costly repairs.
Store brake fluid only in its original container. Keep the container clean and tightly closed to prevent the accumulation of water. Do not refill the container and do not use it to store any other liquids. Dispose of used brake fluid responsibly (EU waste code 160113). Brake fluid damages paintwork – if spilled, wash off immediately using plenty of water. When using Würth 5-litre brake fluids, pierce the centre of the foil seal and screw on the tap. Do not attempt to remove the foil seal, as this will prevent the tap from being properly sealed.
Vehicles
Brake fluid must be changed every 2 years. Under no circumstances mix with automatic transmission fluids (ATF) or mineral oils. Acts as a paint remover. Always store tightly closed in the original container after use.
