Packaging unit
The packaging unit defines the number of articles in one packaging. In the catalog segment you can choose from different packaging units if a pop-up menu is displayed.Just leave the field empty if you don't know the packaging unit when directly entering the article number in the shopping basket or when importing with Easy-/VarioScan. The packaging unit will be determined automatically.
Structure of our article number
The article number is made up of the following: VVVVAAABBBVVVV = 4 digits for prefix number (please note that the first digit is currently always 0)
AAA = 3 digits for dimension part 1
BBB = 3 digits for dimension part 2
Example article number structures:
Example 1: Screw with dimensions of 4x10 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
00574 10 (2 spaces between the 4 and the 10)
Example 2: Screw with dimensions of 10x20 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
005710 20 (1 space between the 10 and the 20)
Example 3: Flat washer with an internal diameter of 6 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
04076

Extremely high and long-lasting adhesive strength
Per running metre, holds up to:
- 8 kg/25 mm width
- 6 kg/19 mm width
- 4 kg/12 mm width
Invisible connections possible
- Optimum design without any unappealing holes, screws, rivets etc.
- Material is not weakened by drilling, riveting etc.
2 in 1: connects and seals in a single step
- Immediate, stress-free bonding
- Provides vibration and shock-absorbing effect
- Prevents rust formation
Very good moisture and UV resistance for possible use outdoors or in damp rooms.
Not recommended for use on low-energy materials such as PE or PP and hard-to-glue surfaces, e.g. PA, rubber, silicone, soft PVC, EPDM or powder-coated aluminium. Adhesion may be impaired on painted surfaces. The final adhesive force is achieved after approx. 48 hours at room temperature.
Please familiarise yourself with the applicable building regulations, which may differ from region to region, before using the adhesion solutions presented and ensure you comply with them when designing and executing your application. We recommend that you always use a mechanical safeguard for adhesive bonding above head level at 1.80 m.
For adhesive bonding of an extremely broad range of materials, such as glass, untreated steel, untreated aluminium, untreated wood, concrete, ABS, hard PVC and PMMA.
Auto/cargo:
Sensors, adhesion of cover panels of all types, e.g. reflectors, mirror glass, decorative mouldings, ceilings, bumpers etc.
Metal/building services:
Bonding cable ducts, mounting signs, glass elements, grab handles, metal trim and base plates for doors and lifts, plastic parts for neon advertising.
With dome lights, conservatories etc., consider the various thermal expansion properties of the specific materials in use.
Sanitary:
Mirror, brackets, decorative elements, dispenser systems etc.
Wood/construction:
Metal profiles in façade construction, glass and plastic parts for dome lights and conservatories, window and door bars etc.
Power assembly adhesive tapes are used to connect similar and different materials, such as uncoated metals (e.g. steel or aluminium without oxide layer), wood*, glass, high-energy plastics (ABS, polycarbonate, PMMA, hard PVC etc.)
*Caution when using with wood, its constituent compounds may influence the level of adhesive strength
It is not recommended to use on low-energy materials such as PE, PP, powder coatings, PTFE or hard-to-stick surfaces such as PA, rubber, silicone, soft PVC, EPDM etc. The maximum holding power is only achieved under optimal application conditions. The Power double-sided mounting tape holds on most smooth or lightly textured, sufficiently solid surfaces where a processing temperature of over 10°C is maintained. Lightly sanding the surface increases the surface area and can improve the adhesive strength. Any oxide layers on metals are also removed. Always remove any sanding dust before bonding. Do not use compressed air containing oil.
The resilience of the bond depends on the force applied. Best results are achieved when the entire adhesive surface is loaded (tensile and shear force), design-related line loading must be avoided (peeling force) or provided with mechanical protection. Overhead bonds are not recommended. In order to establish a bond, the tape requires sufficient contact pressure (20 N/cm²) and then sufficient time before bearing the full load. The final adhesive force is achieved after approx. 48 hours at room temperature. The bond must not be load-bearing until this time has elapsed. If used indoors, an adhesive surface of at least 25 cm² per kg of load is required; if used outdoors, at least 60 cm² per kg of load. At higher temperatures in indoor or outdoor applications, the mounting tape is softer and the retention force is thus lower.
