Weld Thru adhesion primer with high zinc content
The Weld Thru adhesion primer with high zinc content protects steel against rusting through sacrificial anodes or zinc plating. When applied to metal surfaces prior to MIG or spot welding, the zinc melts and bonds the surface to the steel, reducing the formation of rust and sub-surface rust.

98-99 % pure zinc content
- Heat resistant up to 490 °C (914 °F)
- Good electrical conductivity
- Special epoxy resin for improved adhesion to metal
- Adheres reliably to all metals
- Long-term cathodic protection for all metallic surfaces
DO NOT apply filler after application
- Min curing time: 20 mins at 20°C
- Can be painted over
- 500 hr salt-spray resistance
- Spot weldable
- High electrical conductivity
When applied before MIG or spot welding, the zinc melts, bonds to the steel, and reduces rust formation.
It can be applied over rusted or pitted areas provided that all loose scale is removed. A waterproof film will form after 15 minutes and can be welded immediately after application.
Application
Clean and dry metal surfaces. Shake the can for 2 minutes until the ball bearing moves. Spray from 10-15 cm away, allowing 5-8 minutes between coats.
